*smiles* Well, I hate to say it, but it looks like Malfoy was right -- about us, at least. ^_~ We all want the characters we feel are neglected and disused to have a spot on the Gryfinndor team.
I'd personally like to see Pavarti or Lavendar get roped into it..just because I think they need something to get them out of that musty old Divination tower. ^_~
Although, personally, I'd be miffed if Ginny got the spot. I don't know, I *just* don't like the girl...if she suddenly turned out to be some hotshot quidditch player out of the blue...grrr. *slaps own wrist* No growling, Laura. Bad.
Now, Ron...it's purely sentimental, but Ron ought to have the slot, shouldn't he? And he *is* good at chess...which is sort of like fighting a battle...which is sort of like playing a sport..you see? So he'd be a good Captain too.
I feel about Neville the sort of the way I do about Ginny -- except I don't dislike Neville to begin with...I just feel that it'd feel sort of..*off* if Neville suddenly went BOOM!QUIDDITCH GOD. I mean, this was the kid who completely lost it on his broom in PS...plus, I'd be sad if he was suddenly a Quidditch hero...I like Neville the way he is. What's wrong with forgetful and clumsy? It's *him*.
As for Colin Creevey...or Dennis Creevy, for that matter...my first reaction is NO WAY..but then...it could happen...I remember Dennis's excitement at almost getting "eaten" by the giant squid in the lake...kid's got spunk. (as Ginny does NOT...I know you all want Spunky!Ginny, but she's not not not!!)
erm..*turns bright red* forget that..think whatever you want..I just get a little excited sometimes..
