really that bad? She's only doing her job, after all, trying to help
her master do his job. Students hate her, but are they really
supposed to be snooping around the halls? I think Mrs. Norris gets
a bad rap, she's only trying to help.

tries to eat Scabbers. Causes fights between Ron and Hermione. But
yet she is really a better judge of character. She recognized what
no one else could in Scabbers--should've let her eat him when they
had the chance.

two cats mentioned above are viewed as "bad" but really aren't.
McGonagall is good, right? Right? I was not looking for a Evil
McGonagall connection in this, but have I found it anyway? Could it
be that the cats in Harry Potter are the opposite of what they
appear? Bad=good and Good=bad? Or am I thinking too much?

You forgot Arabella Figg's cats.
She bores harry with stories of them. Maybe she does this, because
Harry isn't ~supposed~ to find her interesting. This way she can stay
in the background, and do her job of protecting Harry. Perhaps her
cats are less average than Harry is led to believe?
