Oh, I like that theory!  I always wondered about that chocolate cake.  If
Mrs. Figg never gave Harry sweets before, how did breaking her leg make her
suddenly want to feed him junk food?  And since it was *chocolate* cake that
does point to the "recover from dementor" thing.  It would also explain her
"spoiling" him a little (why, she even let him watch tv!), if she was
relieved that a dementor didn't get to him.
