Yes, but there is one curious bit of canon about Neville that didn't
come up in the Memory Charm Symposium:

"Neville listened jealously to the others' conversation as they re-
lived the Cup match.

"Gran didn't want to go," he said miserably. "Wouldn't buy
tickets. It sounded amazing though."

Now, what is the deal here? JKR could have written that Gran
*couldn't* get tickets or something. That's quite logical --
tickets to popular sporting events are often hard to get. Or she
could have said that Gran couldn't *afford* tickets. That makes
sense, too.

But no. She emphasizes that Neville's Gran was *opposed* to the
idea of attending the Quidditch World Cup, for some odd reason.
Whatever the reason is, Neville isn't happy about it -- he's
described as "miserabl[e]."

So what gives? Could this bit of canon be related to Neville's
Memory Charm. Or his Reverse Memory Charm? Or his Memory Potion?
Or his poor memory that has nothing whatever to do with potions or
magic or any of that?

Gee, did Gran know something, something that led her to want to
avoid this tremendously popular sporting event? Something about
Barty Crouch Jr.? Or Wormtail? Or Bertha?

Oh, I feel a bout of *paranoia* coming on. ;-)

Cindy -- who thinks this tidbit just *has* to have something to do
with Trevor
