Not to me it doesn't. For all we know, the "horrible" death could be
Voldemort's. I don't think the character has to be a sympathetic one in
order for the reader to identify his or her death as horrible. I bet a good
writer, which Rowling certainly is, could make Voldemort die in a way
that'll make us go "won't wish that on my worst enemy."
