Yes, I read that interview myself. Which actually relieved me a little,
because I was worried she would kill Harry (let him die to defeat
Voldemort), but since she brought it up without that question being asked
makes me think she wants us to look that way and not think that it would be
someone else. Am I making sense here? Anyway, because the question asked
was about if she planned sequels after the 7 Harry Potter books about his
life or his children's life. Which she usually says no to, but this time
she answered "What makes you think Harry will survive to have children?"
Which I'm taking as reverse psychology. Sorry, I'm just not mentally
prepared to lose Harry, though I do see it as a possibility.

I really really really don't want any of them to die, but I can conceivably
imagine it being Ron over Harry. For now. I may change my mind over the
next few years while we wait for the remaining three books!

Actually, if it's not Harry or Dumbledore that defeats Voldemort, I'd like
Snape to do it. He's growing on me, the more I read and have reason to hate
him more, I start to understand him a little! Scary, huh? :)

Possible, but I still see Hagrid dying at the end of book 5. After he
fulfills his mission to the giants, successfully, and perhaps dies saving
Harry or Dumbledore. (That "I would trust Hagrid with my life" thing from
Dumbledore has got to point to something.)

Oh, cool, a crossword clue I actually know the answer to!

I can't for the life of me find it now that I'm looking for it. If I do
come across it I'll be sure and post.

Then Tim writes:

I really had hope for Draco--up until then. I can't see him turning around,
he's chosen his side.
