That's the only way to enter, milady.

NOW we're talking! I would love to see this Draco. Instead of
becoming disillusioned that his father kisses up to V-Mort, he
becomes disgusted.

But we still need bravery. I agree that we haven't seen a single
action on his part that could be considered brave. He hides behind
two bodyguards and the few times he is physically challenged -- Harry
flying up to meet him, Neville popping him in the eye and Hermione
smacking the taste out of his mouth -- he backs off. He cheats at the
duel and won't face anyone person-to-person. He uses a fake injury, a
reporter, and McGonagall to try to get people in trouble.

The major time he really needed his ass kicked, when he called
Hermione a mudblood, he hid behind that Slytherin captain when Fred
and George were going to rip him apart.

For him to seriously be considered as someone who could out-Voldemort
Voldemort, we need him to show some backbone and stop being a little
punk.

But I do so love the possibility. We really do need MORE villains in
the series. Right now it's Voldemort and the DEs and Draco and his
gang. We lost Snape (apparently). Barty Jr. is a vegetable. Krum and
Sirius were made nicer by plot twists and Rita and Lockhart are just
really cariactures, not villians. Fudge is more misguided than evil.

Keep Draco evil, I say! Make him MORE evil!

Jo asks why I think Draco is smart:

I might have misinterpreted the text, but the scene in CoS between
Lucius and Draco leads me to believe that Hermione beat out Draco for
top marks in the year. I was basing my assumption on Draco being
second in the class, which would still be pretty good.

He does have wizard skill, but as you said, it's hard to tell how
good he really is at Potions.

Nik, let me just say that Mad-Eye Moody and the Bouncing Ferrets may
be the best name for a band yet! Count me in!

Darrin
-- Cindy, milady, you bring the gas, I'll bring the beer. We need
brats, nachos and a croquet set!
