Responding to my question about female DADA profs - Hei Lun, who happens to
be a guy (*smacks self on forehead* A thousand apologies!)said:

I agree. I just can't imagine Fleur teaching DADA, at least not based on
what we've seen of her so far. Besides, how are her poor male students
suppose to learn anything with a part-Veela for a teacher? Unless they all
decide to try impressing her by becoming model students, but I doubt that
greatly. Instead, I have a mental picture one of them getting lost in a
fantasy about his lovely young teacher, which results in him being strangled
by the grindylow that he was suppose to be studying. <eg>

All I can say is, it's about time they get a woman in to fill that position!
Maybe the job isn't as jinxed as everyone seems to think it is. Perhaps they
just need a female to do it.

Darrin, responding to Cindy's vote for BadAsHeWantsToBe!Draco, cheered:
>NOW we're talking! I would love to see this Draco.

>But I do so love the possibility. We really do need MORE villains in the

>Keep Draco evil, I say! Make him MORE evil!

We definitely need a new (preferably Bangy) villian. ChoirBoy!Draco just
sounds so boring. I realize that he doesn't have to be a perfect angel to
reject Voldemort, but he's just so much more interesting as a villian. I'm
always amused at how people on this list want to make good characters Ever
So Evil and give bad characters a hidden good side.

Darrin also said:
>Nik, let me just say that Mad-Eye Moody and the Bouncing Ferrets may be the
>best name for a band yet! Count me in!

Why, thank you! *blush* I usually find your closings rather amusing, so that
was my little homage. I'm glad you liked it!

~ Nik (who thinks that learning to ferret-bounce people sounds like a handy
little life skill)

*thanks to Elkins for the use of the phrase "ferret-bounced" in a post about
why Draco Malfoy Is Ever So Lame (#39083)*
