I'm still holding on tho the hope that she'll do exactly something
like that to provide Harry with an excuse to come over. Why? So he
has a chance to spend some time with his godfather without either of
them having to dash off to escape Dementors, go to the hospital,
change into Animagi forms, etc.
Somehow I think Dumbledore will contact the "old crowd" to let them
know he is sending a messenger to give them all the details they need
to know. And to trust that messenger and not do him any harm. After
all, to our knowledge, the "old crowd" doesn't know Sirius is
innocent, so they would not be likely to invite a fugitive murderer
in for tea if he just happened to come knocking at their door.
So, Arabella will expect an unexpected visitor. Sirius will clue her
in as to what's going on, and then she can think up a reason to have
Harry come over. I would think that Harry will be feeling guilty
about what happened to Cedric, even though Cedric's death was not his
fault. Who better in Harry's like would understand that sort of self-
recrimination than Sirius?
