As Darrin says "Keep Draco evil, I say! Make him MORE evil!" - I totally
agree.

One theory that keeps floating round my head is how good it would be (if we
do end up losing Dumbeldore and having a weaker headmaster at Hogwarts who
can't withstand pressure) if Draco is appointed Head Boy while his father
becomes Minister of Magic.  Or maybe even manoeuvres himself into the role
of Head master at Hogwarts.  This would stack the odds against Harry but
what a triumph it would be for him to overcome such odds and it would also
show Harry developing into the leader he is destined to be (IMO).  It would
also give Draco the chance to grow as at present there aren't any of the
shades of grey (only his lack of maturity seems to stop him being a full
blown evil case) that exist in the most important characters and would give
JKR a chance to amaze us yet again (as we would expect Harry to become head
boy - eg his parents being head girl/boy).  And this could ultimately
provide a great setting for Draco to convert to the good side as I agree
with Frankie that Draco may well be prime meat for his father to offer up to
Voldemort.

Probably semi insane ramblings but speculation and our twice daily bulletins
from the group are all that separate me from full blown lunacy while waiting
till the next book comes out.  Please JKR hurry up.
