What about Ginny? There is quite a bit of evidence that Hermione and Ginny
are friends.

That said, it's evident that Hermione is a serious young woman and has
pretty low tolerance for giggly girls. Being popular is not that great
thing, in many people's opinion. I'd rather have one good, true friend than
to be popular. And Hermione has Harry and Ron, in addition to her friendship
with Ginny, which, of course, we aren't able to see much of as we see what
Harry sees.
