I honestly cannot see Hermione hanging around Parvati and Lavender 
for the fact that Hermione is not the gossipy, giggly type girl, and 
that's mostly why I respect her.

I think that Harry, Ron and Ginny are really all Hermione needs in 
her circle of friends. She's probably more than content with what 
she's got.  Hermione doesn't need to be popular.  That's sort of her 
personality and way of doing things.
