At the risk of starting a fanfic, do we think there is any link to 
*MR.* Florence Fortescue, owner of the ice cream shop on Diagon 
Alley, the one who feeds Harry full of sundays and advises him on 
mediecal witch burnings during those last few weeks of summer in PoA?

Unless I've missed M. Fortescue's gender. In which case this could 
well be another link.
