In my post on Voldemort as a Christ figure, I inadvertently used the term 'Religious Right' as a shorthand for those who would ban the use of Harry Potter in publicly funded fora on specifically Christian grounds.

I do know that not all Christians, or religious people generally, on the political right, are of this persuasion, and indeed, some are Harry Potter fans.

Please accept my apologies for this sloppy use of language, and the sloppy thought behind it.
