I'm new here and I never posted anything before but this is interesting.

Maybe it's a crazy idea but... We don't know almost anything about Lily. What if Lily was a Salazar Slytherin descendant and James was a Godric Gryffindor descendant. Consequently, Harry is half Gryffindor and half Slytherin!

That's why Harry has characteristics and abilities from the two old wizards and the Sorting Hat has doubts about his house, that's why he is so important, because he is the heir of both.

What do you think about this??
