Yes, I think he got it from Dumbledore. We don't know whether 
Dumbledore was at Potters' that night. Even if he wasn't there either 
Lily or James could give him the key earlier. I don't know, maybe 
when they went into hiding, just in case. I am inclined to think that 
money's indeed Harry's inheritance from his parents. Whom do you 
think these money is from?
