I searched for a post such as this & was unable to find one that has
mentioned what Nearly Headless Nick said in chapter seven of the first
book - that is...
"My dear Friar, haven't we given Peeves all the chances he deserves?
He gives us all a bad name and you know, he's not really even a ghost
-- I say, what are you all doing here?"
If "he's not really even a ghost", then your thoughts become
intriguing Anglia.
