Well, thanks everyone for the nice links and stories you have posted
regarding this topic, all very interesting.

But if what we want to know is what JKR is thinking of when she
mentions robes, why not look at her own drawings? I wasn't as lucky
as to see the special Harry Potter and me, but luckily there are some
