Of course, Harry has already pulled 'The Sword from the Stone' in
CoS. Or, to be precise, Godric Gryffindor's sword from the rather
battered Sorting Hat.
I think, myself, Harry will prove to be Heir of both Gryffindor and
Slytherin - Gryffindor by blood, Slytherin by adoption.
Possibly he's the person who will reconcile all the divisions in the
WW; the born Gryffindor with the Slytherin talents; the wizard-born
who was brought up by muggles; the heir to a pure-blood line who is
the son of a muggle-born.
Hopefully he won't have to get killed to do it.
