Damn right, he is, and frankly, I don't see how it would be humanly 
possible for him to endorse anything else under the circumstances.  
The official WW justice system railroaded him into Azkaban for life 
without a trial.  If he came out of that twelve years later still 
feeling the slightest bit of confidence in the courts' ability to 
dispense justice, he'd be a friggin' saint.  That doesn't mean I 
think he's right to want to kill Peter, only that I think it 
would've been unrealistic for him to want to do anything else, until 
somebody else interfered and made him listen to reason.
