Don't apologise, this is a very good question and the answer is yes,
the Bones Hagrid refers to are Susan Bones grandparents. This info
comes from an online Barnes & Nobles chat with JKR in 2000. The
transcript of this chat and many other interviews and chats can be
found at www.aberforthsgoat.net. Do check it out. It's a truly
wonderful resource and very easy to navigate and you'll be amazed at
how much you can learn by reading these transcripts and articles.
