Also, Remus told the DADA class that although Muggles cannot see

they can feel them. Are there any examples of how Muggles feel them

I of course don't have the link for this, but didn't Rowling say that 
she based the dementors on her experience with depression?  That 
would explain to me how Muggles feel them.  It would pretty much be 
like a wizard, but without knowing why.  I also have the feeling that 
Muggles would actually be weaker against them.  I'm not sure why, but 
that's the feeling I get.
