....and really, wasn't it hitting the wall that knocked him out? It 
took all three of them to blast him off his feet, that's for sure.

They knew what that spell did, and they knew what they wanted to do, 
they were just "lucky" enough to have like-minded backup and a 
distracted and occupied target. If only ONE of them had tried it--
well one shudders to think of the effect--on *the caster*!
 
(Although personally I wouldn't have minded seeing that.)
