I don't doubt that Harry will survive book 7, but I don't
think this quotation proves it. As you say yourself, Rowling
may be speaking of just the 6 next 'years to come'.

However, Rowling did in the NPC Author Luncheon speak of
the possibility of writing more than seven books, and she
said that "Um, the only reason you'll ever see an eighth
Harry Potter book is if I really, in ten years time, burn
to do another one ..." which sort of implies that Harry
would be around for an eighth book should she choose to
write it.
