If the mirror works on the subconcious, then Harry
would have seen those people as a baby, but only his
subconcious mind knew them later. The mirror was able
to pull those memories out to make a whole picuture.
It is quite possible not all that Harry saw were
family, but friends. I doubt at ago one that Harry was
able to tell the difference between an uncle seen once
and a friend that was over alot.
