That's very interesting.  I have always been under the impression 
that Snape's stance of Sirius as the traitor would be merely along 
the lines of "I told you he was a bad lot!" - ie because Snape 
disliked Sirius anyway - but after the fact.  You seem to be implying 
that Snape had this idea before the fact and I'd be interested to 
know where you got this idea from.
