Charlie Weasley's ages

On page 124 (US hardcover) it says that Gryffindor hasn't won the 
House Cup in 6 years.  On page 153 it says Gryffindor hasn't won the 
Quidditch cup since Charlie graduated.  

If Charlie was only 7 years older than HRH and graduated the year 
before they started, then it doesn't make sense for Gryffindors to 
say they haven't won it since Charlie left.  The phrasing implies 
that Charlie is more than 7 years older than HRH and that Gryffindor 
hadn't won the Quidditch Cup in several years.
