Yes it is a very interesting theory.  As for the prophecy orb.
Someone back then decided to name it, and they had to put
something on it.  It is interesting that the other option of
Neville is not allowed for.  Whoever vouched for the names set
the protection for that orb and decided ahead of time that
there could be now other choices in their eyes.

Unless of course Harry is the biggest red herring of the lot.
