Just a minor point, I'm sure, but _Hermione_ knew the answers to the
questions, because she'd done the reading.
So there's no absolute reason why Harry couldn't have known them.
Snape was certainly setting out to be nasty, but also making the point that
it's not just talent that's important, it's learning too (a good message for
any novice wizard, in my opinion!)
