I am pretty sure that they did not have any homework before start of
their first year. I am almost positive that Hermione did a reading,
because she just likes to read (Trust me, I am the same way. :o))
She read "Hogwarts, a history" before they started too. Does it mean
that any other student was supposed to read it too? I mean, good for
them, if they do want to do it, but to punish student because he did
not? :o)
