There are few characters that I'd like to actually meet in RL, and there are few whom I dislike reading. I simply *love* Gilderoy Lockhart sequences, as well as the ones with Rita Skeeter.

LOL!

But I cannot stand Cho. As Elkins summarised (much better than I ever could <g> ), I don't care for her narrative function. I don't see why she has to be there at all. But that's all IMO of course.

Out of other characters... Amos Diggory immensely annoyed me up till his son Cedric "Spare" Diggory died. Dobby annoyed me in the beginning, but he's very cool in GoF. And I enjoyed watching Lucius in TCTMNBN much more than I enjoy reading about him, I'm sure. :)
