That would be my conclusion. The wizard born Hogwarts students seem to be at
the same stage of physical development as the muggle born ones, which would
suggest that maturity happens at the same rate until they reach adulthood
(also if it didn't then witches would gestate like elephants!), and only
then does the extra life span bit cut in. So that a wizard family _could_
carry on having children for twice as long as a muggle family (or start a
lot later, or space their children much further apart).

Possibly, given the equal maturity but longer life, the generation would be
somewhere in between - say 45 years (haven't picked up any hints about what
age a wizard family would typically start having children). But even at 60
years, 9 generations would only go back to the 15th century.
