Well, yes, that's exactly my point.  The Hat gave the sword, which 
only makes sense if it had the sword all along, and Dumbledore had 
nothing to do with it.  If Dumbledore had had the sword and wanted 
to send it to Harry, he'd have no reason to stick it into the Hat 
first.
