[HPforGrownups] Wand Cores

I must not be looking in the right places, but I am having trouble 
finding out about wand cores.  I've read that Ollivander only uses 
three cores: Phoenix feather, Hair from Unicorn Tail, and Dragon 
Heartstring.  I have been trying to find out what properties these 
cores add to the wands.   

If anyone know a good website or reading source, please let me know.

In GoF, the chapter Weighing of the Wands, Ollivander makes remarks about Fleur and Viktor's wands. Viktor's wand uses dragon heartstring as a core (hornbeam wood). Fleur's is rosewood, with veela hair as it's core. Our lovely Wandmaster comments that it's fairly volatile. There's a lot more about wands in the books available at the nine muses:
