Harry definitely needs someone to talk to, I couldn't agree more.  
Thinking he's guilty of Cedric's death won't help him fight against 
Voldemort.


"As to who the whisker will be (sounds like a job for Crookshanks), 
we haven't had a bad guy whisker yet, so maybe it's time.  Instead 
of waiting for a Voldemort confrontation towards the end of the 
book, what if this one starts out with one? Or a near miss?"  


Exactly, what if the plot was reversed a bit? Then maybe what 
Dumbledore has to tell Harry will be in the beginning or middle of 
the book instead of perhaps the last line of book 5.
