Is Harry Potter the saviour of the wizard world?

We've all wondered it, since he's proven time and time again to be 
the major obsticle on Voldemort's path to power.

But I find it hard to believe that JKR would give us our first dose 
of Christian allegory after the series is more than halfway through.  
Plus, she's all about surprises and plot twists; I'd be *shocked* if 
she followed a route mapped out by countless other works of 
literature.

The question isn't really whether or not Harry will save the world.  
It is thus: Will he be crucified in the process?  I have to wonder if 
Jo is dropping any hints with the aptly-named Cruciatus Curse.  Any 
suggestions/theories?
