hope the DD would see the error of his ways and either decided to
teach DADA *himself* (which we pretty much know won't happen) or
FINALLY hire someone capeable of helping these kids get a running
start. It would seem that if HW is the center of security in the WW
during these uncertain times, *someone* should be making an effort
to help its inhabitants help themselves if ever they find themselves
(now *who* would be silly enough to wander off someplace unsafe?)
outside its protective barriers.<<
Exactly melclaros, it's time for these kids to have stable DADA
teacher so that they can learn how to kick some Voldemort/DE butt!
(I believe the kids are going to play a major role from now, besides
HRH.) They have been taught a lot by Lupin and "Mad-Eye Moody", but
they're still missing a year's worth b/c of Lockhart, and when I
say "they're still missing" I mean ALL of HOGWART's. That missing
year means a lot that they didn't learn. But it is obvious that
Harry's class and lower classes need the most help.
I don't think Dumbledore has done them wrong, it just so "happens"
that the DADA teachers he's picked have been possessed by Voldemort,
a faithful servant of Voldemort and an airhead. The only one worth
being mentioned is Lupin. But you brought up something very
interesting: Why doesn't Dumbledore teach DADA himself?! I have a
feeling that the school's population is going to decrease because
they don't want to believe Voldemort is coming back and being that
Dumbledore said that he is to their children, they will be outraged
and take them out of the school. So classes will be small enough
and less time consuming that he'll be able to teach DADA AND do his
other duties as well. :D
