that she is the reason the family is so together. She is the one who
enforces the rules and without her the family will go down. I think
that Voldemrt knows how much Harry cares for her and that will be the
motivation behind this murder. Fudge is blind because he is going to
be found among the Death Eaters(my theory). And I think that Fudge
knew abouth Voldemort all the time.

It's funny, the different things we all see when we look in our
crystal balls. ;-)

I expect Arthur to live long enough to become Minister for Magic,
which is to say that I expect him to survive the series. (The Muggle
fascination would, in this case, turn out to foreshadow the improved
wizard/Muggle relations that occur during his time in office rather
than foreshadowing death at the hands of Voldemort and his Pureblood
Posse.) I'm expecting Molly to live, too, though I can't articulate
why--just a gut feeling. Harry's already lost one mum, and I don't
think JKR is going to kill his second one. My money is on Percy for
the Dead!Weasley; he can die heroically redeeming himself after he
sides with Fudge and is a general prat in Book 5 and beyond.

As for Fudge, I don't think he's smart enough to be a Death Eater.
(Yes, I know ... Crabbe I and Goyle I are clear evidence that DEs
don't have to be the brightest porch lights on the block, but
still.) I think he really is as dumb and clueless as he seems. His
role in the grand scheme, I expect, is to serve as proof that failing
to act against evil can be as catastrophic as intentionally doing
evil yourself.

As for Book 5 deaths, I'm betting on Hagrid. Here's my wacky
theory: I think JKR is, on some level, tuned in to what her
characters want for themselves. Hagrid wouldn't want to outlive
Dumbledore. Just as Harry has already lost one mum, Hagrid has
already lost one dad, and he doesn't need to lose another. So I
think Rowling may "let" him die before Dumbledore, perhaps even in
the act of saving Dumbledore's life. And, since I expect Dumbledore
to buy the farm in Book 6 (because we all know what happens to wise
old mentors), that leaves Hagrid as the Big Death in Book 5.

In addition, one of the few things we know from That Card is that
someone that JKR loves will die. And we know she loves Hagrid. Of
course, she also loves Lupin, and Dumbledore, and Ron, and Hermione,
and bunches of other folks, so that in itself is hardly conclusive.
But that's my theory, and I'm stickin' to it ... at least until June
21. ;-)
