Who will die? I think Hagrid is safe, but I think Molly Weasley,
(Ron's mother), is in big trouble.

Let's face it, if Hagrid dies, it really won't help the story along
much. Hagrid killed by his mother, Harry gets upset and the giants
go to Voldomort. Killed by the big V. or followers, giants go to
Dumbledore, Harry upset again. Not a big deal. (before you flame, I
do love Hagrid, oops! I should not have said that!)

Now with Fudge obstructing Dumbledore's getting ready for Voldomort's
return, there is some stuff to sink your teeth, (fangs?), into.

1) We know Malfoy's hate the Weasleys.

2)Rons dad, Aurthur, is being instrumental in getting those who can
help Dumbledore in the MoM ready.

3)Harry is protected at the Dursley's, (otherwise known as the
horrible muggles).

4)Harry is not so protected at the Weasley's.

5)Perfect Percy, (Ron's older brother), who works at the MoM will not
cross Fudge, he is too attached to following the rules.

6)Molly Weasley almost didn't send Hermonie an Easter gift after
reading about her supposed triangle with Harry and Victor. She is
very protective of him, including him in the family, knitting him
sweaters, writing to the muggles to let him go to the Quidditch
matches.

What could get Percy to help his father? What could galvanize the
magical community to stand together and fight? Where would Voldomort
attack without worrying too much about `collateral damage?' Where
would Malfoy, (Sr. or Jr.), go to hurt the occupants for Voldomort
with a song in their hearts?

At the Weasley home just before the end of summer. The book always
starts on Harry's birthday. He goes to the Weasley's just before
going to Hogwarts. Voldomort and/or company attack him there. He,
Ron, Fred, and George escape, (flue powder?), Molly Weasley dies in
protecting them.

This gives our hero's protection like Harry had originally, spread to
Ron and brothers as well. This would cement Ron to Harry's side even
more. This would inflame the magical community to help Dumbledore.
This would get Percy away from Fudge. And with any luck Malfoy Sr.
might even eat a Canary Crème or a Ton Tongue Toffee! (a stretch on
the last one, I know). I think Molly is the one in trouble.
