Interesting thought. We don't really know what is meant by a life
debt, having only one sure example to go by--and that is the case of
Pettigrew, who thus far hasn't balked at delivering Harry up to be
murdered. I'm sure *something* will come of that life debt, but PP
could do a whole lot more damage first.
But it seems likely to me that one ingredient of a life debt might be
that one was saved by a deliberate act of the other. Harry *meant*
to save Wormtail's life. But he did not intend any help to
Voldemort. The blood was "forcibly taken" and had to come from
someone who regarded himself as Voldemort's enemy. Furthermore,
while Voldemort was in the cauldron Harry was fervently wishing for
him to die. No, whatever good Harry did Voldemort was completely
against Harry's will.
