> Forgive me if I'm trodding on old ground here, but doesn't Harry's
blood now make Voldemort MORE vulnerable? I mean, one of the biggest
platforms of Voldemort's supporters (as well as that of the big guy I
believe) is the survival of purebloods. In using Harry's blood, the
blood of one who is part muggle, hasn't Voldemort in essence tainted
his own pure blood? And couldn't this make him more susceptible to
attacks...even the possibility of assassination at the hands of one
of his own "pureblood" DE's?

Why should it? After all, Tom Riddle, Voldemort's father and the
unknowing bone-donator, was a muggle. Voldemort was a half-blood from
start. And not just a half-blood, but one raised by muggles...

But why did it have to be _Harry's_ blood? I think that was because
it was with Harry that Voldemort lost his powers, so he'd get most of
them back by using Harry's blood... However, I think Harry has those
powers too, he just doesn't know all of them (parseltongue is one of
them, I think).

However... Flesh of a servant, willingly given, you will restore your
master...

Pettigrew serves Voldemort WILLINGLY - no claiming being under
Imperious or death-threat any more!

The Potion is tainted, because of the bond between Pettigrew and
Harry...

Oh and.. Why did Voldemort offered Lily to live? Did he, perhaps, owe
Lily a life-debt?
