Hello starropal at hotmail.com,
In reference to your comment:
è Well, they knew there was a spy. They probably
è noticed that information was being leaked a year
è before Lily and James were killed. So it just would have
è been a deduction. Year of enemy knowing things it
è shouldn't = Peter spying for a year. But Sirius didn't
è _know_ it was Peter _while_ it was happening, only
è after.
I most definitely agree. Actually, thinking about the secret keeper plot,
without knowing that Pettigrew *was* the sky, it was realy an ingenius plan.
Who would have suspected anyone to entrust such important information to
Pettigrew? He would be the *last* person anyone would have suspected. Sirius,
of course, would have been the first, being James best friend and constant
companion since Hogwarts Days. It makes perfect sense. But, the flaw was that
they didn't realise that Pettigrew would have been the traitor, and since he
faked his deat, no one suspected anything from him but bravery in seeking
retribution for the deaths of his beloved friends, Lily and James.
-Snuffles who thinks Sirius, like Snape is dead sexy, and thus can't be all
bad ;)
"All men dream: but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty
recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the
dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams with
open eyes, to make it possible. This I did." T.E. Lawrence- Seven Pillars of
Wisdom
