When Sirius went to the Potter's home, after checking up on
Pettigrew, and discovered the carnage, why didn't he mention the
Secret Keeper change to Hagrid or send an owl to anyone else?
After Sirius was imprisoned in Azkaban, are we to supose that another
DE told Sirius about Peter's year long treachery?
*"You must understand," said Karkaroff hurriedly,"that
He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named operated always in the greatest secrecy...we
never knew the names of everyone of our fellews" GoF (US 588)
Since Pettigrew was a spy, would not Voldemort have kept his actions
and identity a secret from others?
After Sirius escaped from Azkaban, how would Sirius have come by this
figure of a *year* (not *some* time) when most believe Pettegrew to
be an inocent victim of Evil! Black's rage. Killed for reasons
unknown? Who else knew of this *One Year* spy to give Balck such
certainty that he yells it at Peter as though it were a fact they
both
knew was true?
What if Black had always known of Pettigrew's activities. Why else
did not try to clear his name? Maybe Black didb't want the Potter's
killed, but was still on the dark side? Why this need to confront
Pettigrew without telling anyone what he was up to first?
Dumbledore believes in second chances, why didn't Albus who counted
Sirius as one of "the old crowd" ever talk to Sirius about his role
in the Potter murders?

(Who honestly hopes Sirius is the kind, misunderstood godfather of
wee Harry Potter)
