Hermione *knows* Rita saw Sirius! Everyone knows about Lupin being a
werewolf now, so Hermione might just *tell* her the truth. (Maybe she
did that while Harry was too numb to notice anything?)
At any rate, Rita *might* write about Voldemort's return - to get at
Cornelius Fudge. (Except that she's better off with Fudge than
Dumbledore). She doesn't get *That* on Dumbledore, but with Sirius'
innosence - she'll tell of Dumbledore's grave error in his testimony
about Sirius Black being the Secret Keeper while he was not, causing
innocent man hauled off to Azkaban, thus making Dumbledore look as
bad as possible.
Next article could be about how nice Sirius Black holds absolutely no
grudge towards Dumbledore or Ministry, hoping only to be finally
cleared of his reputation...
Then, the pretty story about a group making themselves animagi in
school to help their werewolf friend.
Article about Peter Pettigrew and Ministry's stupidity in believing
the death-framing.
Tell about Peter Pettigrew living in Weasley household as a pet (a
little bit against Weasleys once more)
Tell about Peter Pettigrew's escape from Sirius Black.
Tell about Peter Pettigrew WILLINGLY giving his own flesh to restore
Voldemort, taking Harry Potter's blood.
Harry Potter: "Sirius is only one who cares for me"... Let everyone
know what sort of people the Dursleys are...
She's into a *series* of articles on Sirius Black's innosence! I
think she'll do that. Sirius will FINALLY face a trial (Rita Skeeter
will write about that, of course, emphasis on how the ministry failed
to give him one in the first place).
With Rita's help, Sirius will be cleaned, not only legally, but also
by public opinion. All he has to do, is *register* as an animagus
after the trial. Rita writes an article what a nasty process poor
Sirius Black had to go trough just to be law-abiding, and how all
requirement for animagi-registration should be out...
Sirius would get a trial without Pettigrew - (necessary if we want to
keep up excitement).
Harry might sneak into seeing Sirius, unable to stand the wait and
attempt to get Sirius out- but Sirius refuses because he *gave his
word*, tells Harry all about when James Potter saved Severus Snape's
life... and what not. Maybe we hear about a life-debt-trick JP used
to keep SS quiet about Moony? Harry does such a trick on Pettigrew
and thus gets Sirius to freedom for good!
