Hoggwarts is not a muggle castle and can be any size. Its inner
dimensions would have nothing to do with its outer ones or the normal
size of 'muggle' castles. It could have as many levels and as many
rooms as it needs to have, much like the enchanted tents used at the
World Cup that were the size of a pup tent outside and the size of a two
story 5 bedroom house on the inside.
Not to mention rooms that are only available at certain times, like
Dumbledore's chamberpot room. Bet the earliest spells kids would have to
learn is some sort of navigation spell just to keep from getting lost
all the time.
Muggle physics just do not work here. (grin)
