Now me:
...snip...So it's the name of the hamlet or
town where the Potters lived, not the name of the Potter's house
itself.

And now Me:
Just because someone at the Lexicon thinks its a name of a village and reports that it is without any conclusive evidence does not make it so. Godric's Hollow is just as likely to be a home as it is to be a town/village. Just due to the fact Godric's is part of the name and its in Muggle Central I think its a home. But then I think Godric would have been a very Muggle friendly wizzard so who knows...J.K.Rowling does, and thats all (for now).
