I like this! I think you're on to something here. What a perfect 
corollary to the Mirror of Erised! The mirror shows you your deepest 
desire, even if it's something unattainable. ("Men have wasted away 
before it") This CPR (for lack of a better term at the moment) would 
provide you with your deepest NEED, even if it's something as mundane 
as a chamberpot!
