Hermione's Jealousy (Was Ron & Jealousy)

Now do you really think that Hermione's jealous.  I *sometimes* 
interpret her "jealousy" to her becoming more conscious, politically 
*and* socially.  She realizes that Ron and Harry are wooed by the 
veelas; Ron's wanting to go to the Yule Ball with a real pretty girl 
and his silliness towards Fleur Delacour (I don't think I spelled 
that correctly).   

She is, of course, more mature than them and realizes that beauty 
comes from the inside.  At least I think she does, because we all 
remember her crush towards the goodlooking Lockhart.  Yet like every 
other girl she feels as though she's not pretty enough to get Ron's, 
or Harry's, attention.  Which makes us go back to square one with 
Hermione: her lack of self confidence.
