  Well, when I was 13 and went to school, I could definitely
*not* make a machine-gun. Still, I knew enough to make a
good sharp dagger. Similarly, I lacked knowledge to make a
proper dynamite, but I knew enough to make trinitroglycerine
(or how it is called in English, dammit ;). So while 13 year
old Harry doesn't know Avada Kedavra, it doesn't mean he
knows *no* spells that could kill a person... especially a
wandless and defenceless (as Harry thought ;) person.
