I write:

Ah, Dumbledore *said* that he was bombarded by 
letters. And, although we know for sure that
there are families (like the Malfoys) out there who
detest Hagrid, Dumbledore conveniently did not 
mention the letters he must've received demanding 
Hagrid's removal. Nor did he mention the proportion
between those two.
